The subdued, timeless light of these coastline photographs connects to much earlier memories growing up along the California coast. The lighthouse at Pigeon Point series is inspired by Eadweard Muybridge's Pigeon Point photographs, one of the first chroniclers of the West, Muybridge made his soon after the Civil War with the completion of the trans-continental railroad.
